Library and search
Save what matters.
Your Library is the part of the browser that remembers. Pages, passages, moments in a video, folders and playlists, kept on your device and found again by what they mean.
Pages
Keep an article or a reference page, with its text available for search.
Passages
Select the sentences that matter and save just those, with a link back to where they came from.
Video moments
On supported sites, save the exact moment in a video so you can return to it.
Folders and playlists
Group what you saved by project, topic or mood. Playlists keep video moments in order.
Better search
Find by meaning, not just a remembered title.
Switch on Better search and your Library is searched by what things mean. Ask for “the clause about the deposit” and get the passage, even if it never uses the word “deposit”.
- Heater manual — page 12Close matchPassage
“Parts and labour are covered for 24 months from the date of purchase, provided the unit is installed by a licensed technician.”
- Receipt — hardware storeRelatedPage
A page you saved with the purchase date for the heater.
Better search runs on your device after a one-time download of a search model of roughly 135 MB. Results above are an example of how saved items are matched.
More than bookmarks
Your notes live next to what you saved.
A bookmark tells you where something was. Your Library keeps what it said, and what you thought about it.
- Highlights and notes
- Mark a passage and write beside it. The note stays tied to that exact place on the page.
- Notes on a moment
- Write a note at a timestamp in a video and jump back to it later.
- Tags
- Label anything with your own tags and filter by them, across folders.
- Watch later
- Queue videos for the evening and carry on where you stopped.
- Captions and transcripts
- Where a video offers captions, read them, search them and save the lines you need.
- Audio notes
- Record a thought and keep it with the rest of a project.
- Keyword search too
- Search by exact words whenever you remember them. Better search is an addition, not a replacement.
- The agent can use it
- Ask the agent to find, read or save in your Library as part of a task, with your approval for anything it writes.
- One Library per profile
- Work and personal profiles keep separate Libraries.
Captions are available only where the video’s source provides them. Nothing is saved from a private tab.
Organise
Organise your own collection.
Folders for projects, playlists for video. Move things between them, rename them, clear them out. Your Library is a collection you own, on your device.

Return
Return to the moment.
A saved video moment opens the video and takes you to that point. Your Library’s now-playing list keeps the next moment ready.
